Rehobeth Town Center: A Vision for Community and Economic Growth
Project Summary
The Rehobeth Town Center is a transformative mixed-use development designed to serve as a focal point for the Town of Rehobeth, Alabama. Spanning 17.03 acres at the intersection of County Road 203 and Hadden Road, the project balances commercial, residential, and recreational spaces to enhance quality of life and economic opportunity.
On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the Town of Rehobeth officially approved the rezoning of the project site to Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.), a major milestone in bringing this vision to life.
Outcomes
Economic Growth: The master plan introduces commercial spaces that provide retail, dining, and essential services, strengthening Rehobeth’s local economy and creating new job opportunities.
Diverse Housing Options: A mix of second-floor residential units above retail spaces and single-family townhomes will offer varied housing choices to meet the needs of a growing community.
Vibrant Public Spaces: The heart of the development features a 3.7-acre Town Green with walking trails, a water feature, and gathering spaces for events, fostering a strong sense of community.
Connectivity and Sustainability: The plan integrates pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, bicycle pathways, and sustainable green infrastructure to create an accessible and environmentally responsible development.
