Recent comprehensive planning efforts include:

• Alexander City Comprehensive Plan: A dynamic, living document designed to guide future development with tools for community engagement, funding strategies, and implementation techniques. The plan focuses on connectivity, housing diversity, and green infrastructure to balance economic growth with environmental stewardship.

• Oneonta Comprehensive Plan: Developed to highlight Oneonta's natural and cultural assets, this plan emphasizes downtown revitalization, infrastructure upgrades, and strategic zoning updates to attract investment and create a cohesive community identity.

• Centreville Comprehensive Plan: Centered on creating a connected and vibrant community, this plan includes detailed strategies for enhancing public spaces, supporting local businesses, and preserving historic assets, with a focus on aligning future development with existing community values.

• White Hall Comprehensive Plan: A visionary roadmap that integrates cultural preservation, infrastructure improvements, and community gathering spaces. The plan highlights heritage tourism and sustainable development to support economic vitality and community pride.

• Fayette Comprehensive Plan (In Progress): Currently under development, this plan will provide a comprehensive framework for Fayette’s growth, with an emphasis on downtown redevelopment, connectivity enhancements, and strategies for sustainable economic opportunities.
